As the county is deciding who to elect as the new County Supernatant of Education, this is a question to present to each of the candidates. Wouldn't it be interesting to be a fly on the wall if the office of MEA needed to share space with the DEI office?

Check out Sequoia HS district article; they want to dump a successful program. Find a way to keep good programs; lose high admin costs in favor of successful programs that promote good student outcomes.
Check out Dan Walter’s editorial today. The school district should do everything they can to keep Tides. Find savings that don’t impact successful student outcomes. Moving $ from successful programs weakens public school impressions. Do the right things for the students.
